INTRODUCTION

Kaney Duo is a music Band directed By Javier Peña Olivers, a musician of great musical career in Colombia and abroad. Kaney was created in 2001 and began to travel around the world. KD can play different music styles like: Latin jazz, bossanova, pop, cha cha cha, r&b, English Hits, salsa, merengue, bachata and many more. KD has been performed in many hotels in United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and China.
Javier Peña is our Musical director. He began his musical career at the age of 8 studying music at the conservatory in his hometown "Bucaramanga"; over there he learned how to play grand piano, guitar, bass and percussion. After that he studied music at the "Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga" where he perfected his piano concept, Musical arrangement and became a great composer as well. In 2001 Javier created Kaney Band and began to travel around the world.
Silvia is a singer, dancer and plays latin percussion as well (Bongo, shakers, tamborine). She began her career when she was 10 years old and participated in several singing competitions winning most of them. She became part of different kind of groups like: Dancing Groups, latin bands and Vocal groups.
